I have had an account with royalgames.com for a couple of years. When I installed Firefox, I imported my favorite sites. The first time I tried to access royalgames Firefox asked if I wanted to remember the password and I selected "remember the password". Now, I keep getting the same window over and over asking me for the password. When I flip back to Internet Explorer, I have no trouble with my password being accepted.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  • Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  • Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  • Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  • From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  • Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Moreover please follow the steps as suggested by cor-el in the above reply.

Details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie.

  • Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
  • Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Cookies
  • do not clear the Site Preferences

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.

Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"

Firefox REMEMBERS the password; royalgames won't recognize it when I am on firefox but will when I'm on IE.
