After installing the add-on Ghostery, it's not really what I expected so I'd like to delete it. But I can't find where all my add-ons are listed so I can simply delete it!

See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Click Firefox button, click Add-ons. Ghostery is in Extensions.

Yes, it was helpful, but I'm still somewhat confused - are Extensions the same as Add-ons? If they are, then why call them by two different names? The reason I wanted to delete Ghostery is because the printing in the "bubble" that appeared was not legible - it was hazy and too small.

The term Add-ons includes:

  • Extensions (adds additional functions to Firefox)
  • Plugins (added by 3rd-party programs, like Adobe Reader, Java, some video players, etc.)
  • Themes & Personas (change the "look" of Firefox)

The items being blocked by Ghostery have a line drawn through the name, the un-blocked items do not have a line drawn through the name. That may make the blocked items less clear. Since I have some vision problems, I keep my zoom on about 120%-150% of normal and the Ghostery bubble and its contents is also magnified.
