I recently started getting a huge amount of junk emails. The junk settings were missing most of these. I got tired of point-and-click manually identifying these messages as junk so I added a message filter rule that 1) identifies words in the body, 2) sets junk status to junk, 3) moves messages to junk on local folders, and 4) "white lists" good messages with the same words in the body. I do not see messages that my message filter rule catches in the adaptive junk filter log. Is Thunderbird's adaptive junk filter learning from the messages that my message filter rule is catching, yes/no?
