F-Secure online safety extension not compatible with Firefox 28.0
Having downloaded F-Secure Safe from Virgin Media the online safety extension is disabled, there's no enable function in add-ons manager, could you please inform me how to activate the extension.

Install a Firefox 28 compatible version of that extension.
If you just installed that program run a "live update" (or whatever F-Secure calls their manual user update procedure).
