After having to do a reset on Firefox, and getting all of my preferences set back to normal - for me - Firefox is set to clear history on a custom setting ~ clear everything but Download history, Active Logins, and all Data.

When I start up Firefox again, I am forced to log into all of my usual sites again.

These were the same settings prior to the reset, but now it is not working. Passwords are saved and automatically fill in when I start the log in procedure.

What am I missing.

hello, most sites use cookies to keep you logged in over different sessions - if you delete them each time you close the browser, you'd have to enter your credentials again the next time after you restart. you could set keep cookies: until i close firefox in the privacy panel and create exceptions for the sites that should recognize you even after a restart...

Thank you, I'll give that a try. I know I had it to clear cookies prior to the reset.
