I just installed Firefox 14 on a new computer. I see how I can import bookmarks and browsing history using Sync, but can I also import my cookies? I tried a few cookie-importing add-ons, but they don't seem to work on FF 14. I do have my cookies in a text file - is there a specific location I can copy it to?

Thanks!

When you say your have your cookies in a text file, what format is the file? Firefox recognizes an old Netscape format (bookmarks.html) and a newer .json backup format.

Apologies for misreading cookies as bookmarks...

Did you use an extension to export the cookies?

I used a different plug-in to export cookies, but it doesn't seem to work to import them... I'll try Cookies Manager... Frustrating that Firefox doesn't do this by default... Thanks.

You can copy the cookies.sqlite file from one Firefox Profile Folder to another profile folder to move all cookies to that profile. This will of course replace all existing cookies.

Note in top section of Cookies Manager + says, "v1.5.1 of this addon is not compatible with Firefox v14 and newer!" So it will not work for Firefox Version 14
