A simple counter implemented on my website stopped displaying anything with ver 4 (possibly earlier). I had hoped the situation would be corrected but that didn't happen. The same problem occurs with IE so it isn't really a Firefox problem but I'm hoping you can do something about it anyway. See the counters here: http://www.rayrogers.com/counter.htm

I've had Firefox since ver 1 and the counters worked for years. No changes have been made to the counters code.

XBITMAP is no longer supported.

If you are curious then see this attached image.

Thank you for the replies, that clears up the mystery. Now, what can I do about it? This counter code is in my CGI library and written in PERL, I believe. I use it because it was the only free counter I could find that gave me full control of the code (the 'free' counters would shut down after a few years or want to charge me). What replaced XBITMAP ?

Sorry, I don't know how to replace that old XBITMAP code.
