Firefox cannot find or load the website - "server not found" - I have to reload several times

Since upgrading (Jun2010) to the latest version of Firefox I now can't access websites efficiently - often it will hang then say "server not found" - after refreshing, sometimes several times, it eventually loads. I gather this is getting to be a major problem. Any solution as yet?

FREQUENTLY getting this message: Unexpected HTTP Response Status Code 13030. An unexpected HTTP Status Code was returned for your request. Please contact customer Care with this information if you encounter this problem again. This page cannot be displayed or problem loading......Please help with this problem; am considering going back to Internet Explorer as I did not have this problem.

I tend to get this particularly when going to http://www.facebook.com/ and also http://www.partystar.com.au/

If I click reload the problem goes away, however if I type the link again in to my browser the problem persists.
