What happens when you try to access the site -- is there an error message?

By the way, for me, that address redirects to https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/northern-california/front-door (this may be geographically determined based on your current IP address).

Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?

If you use a bookmark to access a specific page, instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

This is the message I get by both bookmark entry or from kp.org directly:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

HELP!

Hmm, you probably are not blocking cookies for that site. I assume you are not blocking cookies with custom settings, just using one of the normal levels of Tracking Protection (Standard or Strict)?

Try clearing previously saved cookies for kp.org and kaiserpermanente.org using the "Manage Data" button on the Settings/Preferences page. Here's how -- either:

  • (menu bar) Firefox > Preferences or Firefox > Settings
  • main menu button > Preferences or main menu button > Settings

Click into the Privacy & Security panel and scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section. There, you can use the "Manage Data" button to remove cookies and local storage data for just the two sites without affecting other sites.

Any improvement?

You can check this pref in about:config and make sure that it is default.

  • about:config => accessibility.blockautorefresh == false

You can open about:config via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be careful. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.
