Hi Steve, was this an in-place update or is it a completely fresh install? To control when the bookmarks toolbar appears, see the steps in this article: [[Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window]]. If you do not see the expected bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar, do you see them under the Bookmarks Toolbar category in the sidebar (Ctrl+B)?
