Thunderbird profile does not load properly

more options

I have two different profiles on my computer. The one loads without a problem. The other one suddenly no longer loads any mails and no longer has any account information. It just starts with the wizard to create an account. The folder with the profile still exists, and TB points to the correct folder. Creating a new profile in the profile manager and pointing it to that folder results in the same: no mails or folders load and it starts the wizard to create an account. Launching in troubleshoot mode also has the same result. So, it looks like it can't access the information about the accounts. What can I do?

Never Mind. I found a solution. The Address Book still was intact. So, I tried another solution I found online: Recreate the accounts, and then in the server settings of the email account, change the folder to redirect to the old mailbox in the mail folder. I did have to reconfigure all add-ons.
