I think it was the update to 1:15, but I'm not certain when the search engines I had disabled were unable to again. I don't understand why I can't delete, for example, Bing and eBay which I will never ever use, but to have to disable them adventuresjust because I update Firefox, seems ridiculous.

I cannot delete the default search engines. And it doesn't explain at all why an update to Firefox suddenly enables all the default search engines.

If you do not have one of the installed options set as the default, it is not doing anything and should not impact your browsing experience.

We have recently made some changes to the search options in Firefox for Android to make it easier to change the default and per-search options from the address bar.
