Hello,

I have been using Firefox for something specific for a long time now. I've noticed in a recent update having the ability to do what I need has ceased. If a Firefox window is covering another (or covered by another program) on the screen, the graphics of the background Firefox window no longer update. I run a software that needs to see these graphics in order to function properly.

Could you tell me which version this stopped working and if there are plans to reverse whatever change you made?

Thanks, Kyle

Appreciate the reply but I don't think you understood what I'm asking. I don't know which update stopped the background Firefox windows' graphics from updating, that's why I'm here asking. It was within the past month. I am using a software that scans the image of background Firefox windows and looks for something to happen. I cannot take a screenshot of the issue since the problem is not captured in the foreground. Don't think drivers matter here this is happening across multiple systems in the same timeframe with no prior issues.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make changes effective.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
