How do I keep history longer
History only seems to be saved for the last 7 days. Where can I access older history? How can I save longer history in the future?

Hi mouse to the top of the browser and Right Click in a empty spot and turn on the Menu Bar. History --> Show All History.
3Bar Menu --> Library --> History --> View History Sidebar The above is rather limited though.

Sounds that you have some software scheduled to run weekly to clear the history. Firefox has a maximum number of pages for keeping history and not a time limit.
