I was running my MacBook Pro off a full battery and using wi-fi at the time the two crashes occurred. Using Firefox 57.0.1 (64-bit) at the time. The computer completely shut down spontaneously in mid-download. Out of fear of accidentally repeating the experience, I'm temporarily using Safari to send this message. I would prefer to continue using Firefox from quality-induced habit.
