Can't access a site that I access with Internet Explorer

more options

I tried to access the site: https://www.scuola.dote.regione.lombardia.it/ and I have got the message: Secure Connection Failed. I have read a number of web pages telling how to hack firefox to solve the problem, but none of them worked. Eventually, I have used Internet Explorer, that opens the site without complaining about the autenticity of the site (which, by the way, it is a site of the local Government...).

被選擇的解決方法

On the face of it, the site has a good certificate. However, Firefox obviously doesn't like something about it and I'm trying to figure out what it is.

Meanwhile, this diagnostic site gives a grade of "F" to the server, so the security of your connection may be questionable: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.scuola.dote.regio.... Hopefully you aren't submitting or viewing any sensitive data you do not want to leak out to third parties. I suggest bringing that assessment to the site's attention.

This workaround should work:

(0) Select and copy the following host name:

www.scuola.dote.regione.lombardia.it

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste TLS and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts preference and:

(A) If it's blank, paste the host name and click OK (B) If there's already content in this preference, press the End key to go to the end, type a comma, then paste the host name and click OK

To test the result, reload the problem page using Ctrl+Shift+r to bypass the cache.

There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
