The "+" symbol to open a new tab to the right of the toolbar has disappeared recently. How do I get it back?

There used to be a "+" symbol to the right of the tabs toolbar making it easy to open a new tab. Recently I noticed it has disappeared. The only way to open a new tab is "file>new tab". How do I get the "" symbol back? Thankyou!

hi, you could try to restore the default toolbar set like described in Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing.
