When I synced my bookmarks (only) on 2 of my computers, desktop and laptop, the bookmark folders that I had on both computers with the same names but different bookmarks therein merged. This was never my intention and is an unwanted result of my desire to sync my bookmarks. I had certain bookmarks on each computer that are specific to that computer and did not want them to be permanently on the other computer. ie bookmarks on laptop in a folder named hard drive info are now permanently on the desktop in the folder that is also named hard drive info. At first I thought I had lost the bookmarks on the desktop computer but then realized they were merged. Now, while neither computer is signed into sync I have to go thru the bookmarks folders and delete each bookmark that I do not want on the desktop computer individually. I am relatively sure there may not be an easier way to do this but I thought I would ask anyway just in case someone else may have had a similar experience. I am not saying similar problem because the result I experienced using sync may not be a problem for most people. I wanted access to the bookmarks on both computers but I did not want them getting "married" to each other. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
