Question above pretty much sums up. Reloaded Firefox a minute ago, but same issue. I miss firefox and hope I can get it back. Did window do an update that may have caused this? I am on Windows 7.

often such issues are also caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

Hello there,

Sorry to hear about the issues your currently having with Firefox.

You could first try clearing the cookies and cache:

1. Click the menu button and choose "Options" 2. Select the Advanced panel 3. Click on the Network tab 4. In the Cached Web Content section, click "Clear Now".

If none of the above works then you could try reinstalling Firefox and see if that solves the problem.

Keep us posted!

I did as both the above reply's recommended and Firefox is up and running again. I don't know which was the proper solution or if both were needed, but my browser is now up. THANKS for taking the time to help me. I've not used this help option before and I am very pleased and grateful.
