Everytime I open Firefox, I get an aggravating message from "Apollo Browser sync" that wants to access my Google account - how do I get rid of this message?

This has been happening for the last 2 days. I don't remember downloading this app. It said I had given it permission to access my phone and iPad, which I removed. But even though I have denied it permission, I keep getting the message first thing after opening Firefox. I'm tempted to stop using Firefox as my default since this doesn't happen in another browser.

Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is there for. Also, check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder Linux:

  • Ubuntu Unity {web link}
  • Xfce: Applications Menu category sections
  • options depends on the package manager and the desktop environment

Go thru the list. If you find something that you don't know what it is, use a web search.
