I have been using [edited] @comcast.net as user name for Firefox account. I want to delete that email because I'm leaving comcast ASAP. I read instruction that say add a new email name as a secondary account and then delete the primary one above. I entered [edited[ @gmail.com. I got a message that said that account already exists. Since I didn't know that or remember any password for it, I entered [edited] @gmail.com and said "forgot password." I changed it Now Firefox won't let me in using the [edited] @gmail.com account. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

I am recently getting messages from FireFox on the right hand side of my screen. See uploaded image.

The information is totally useless and interrupts my work.

How can I get rid of this junk.

If I can't, then after many years of Firefox, I switch to another browser as my default.

My wife discovered today that all email had disappeared from her inbox! She doesn't know how or why and neither do I. She is running Thunderbird 1.15 under Windows 7. I have already tried the Windows restore function on the INBOX and it didn't work. Tried a number of other methods and none worked. In looking around the Thunderbird directory and noticed a bunch of files named nstmp-1, 2 3 and 4. nstmp-4 has this morning date-time on it and viewing it in an editor it seems to be a backup of the INBOX. Is this true, and can it be used to rebuild her INBOX.

Downloaded an update a few days ago on my W11 OS and FF stopped loading pages Office Depot, Expedia, Amazon it was off and on would show up when it first loaded then when the news pages loaded it would disappear. Tried to use Refresh but it cut off my access to the web message: Secure connection failed...error connection...PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Tried restart with add ons disabled...nothing, tried restart normally...nothing. Any help in this would be appreciated thanks.

Some shades of white have a purple tinge to them. The amazon logo, certain themes, and other websites are slightly purple. This is only an issue in firefox, not any other program or browser.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Thanks.

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

With about 60G of accumulated e-mail in several Microsoft accounts, I moved all accounts into T-bird and put most in local folders. This somehow became over 600G in size. Everything works and compacting seems to be getting done since it's been working some weeks now. Yet this ten-fold increase in size is unwieldy and very difficult to backup. Perhaps related, I notice that M'soft's "new" free Outlook app is present and perhaps running on this computer. And all the e-mails I send from my main Hotmail account are listed twice in the T-bird sent folder. About half of the times I start T-bird, I get a message saying that login to server outlook.office365.com with username xxxxxxxx@hotmail.com failed; the other accounts never do this. T-bird offers to retry, but that usually ends with a repeat of the same message. I've learned that if I let it open, with time, the e-mails do appear, though I don't know how or why. I've also been using Libreoffice successfully for months now though I doubt that anything to do with this. T-bird nicely solved the original e-mail oversize problem I had with Microsoft's size limitations and I'd appreciate advice on how to deal with what's happening.

I cannot play YouTube videos using Firefox with Windows 10. I still have to use Chrome, even after I cleared my cache and cookies. I reinstalled Firefox and then I could watch YouTube videos for a few days, but now they stopped working again.

I have an address in my address book that I received many emails from. About a month ago they started going to the bulk folder. How do i get that address restored so i can receive emails from them?

No videos on any platform will play when I try to open them in Firefox. They are forever stuck on the thumbnail image of the video, and nothing happens when I hit play. I've had this happen a couple times and was able to resolve before by installing updates and uninstalling my Mozilla VPN, but this time nothing has worked. I've tried pretty much every solution I could find online:

• Updating Firefox
• Updating my computer
• Running in Incognito
• Running in troubleshooting mode
• Allowing autoplay
• Disabling hardware acceleration
• Disabling addons
• Clearing cache and data
• Enabling/disabling DRM content
• Installing Windows Media Pack

I'm running Windows 10, and videos seem to work fine in Edge, if that makes any difference.

I am deleting or updating accounts linked to an email that was hacked. However, I cannot make changes to this Firefox account that I no longer use because the email that was hacked no longer exists. I wish to delete the account because of suspicious activity. Thank you for your assistance.

Followed the instructions in the article and cannot send email (SMTP error) "Login to server smtp.office365.com with username xxxxx#outlookcom failed"

Tried a new profile - no change Followed directions for using config editor and deleting two items - no change Could go back to original settings (turn off OATH2) but have to get it working by Sept so might as well slay the beast now.

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. I am trying to print a long webpage into a PDF format. When I open the Print preview window, I noticed that pages after the 255th page are all blank. I tried changing the destination but this seems to be a persistent issue. I tried the same procedure with Microsoft Edge and the entire page was able to be seen in the Print preview window.
