there is no bar listing File, Edit, View, Tools, ... When I click on drop down Firefox arrow I see - New Tab New Private Window Edit ( not highlighted) but some can be opened. Find Save Page As Email Link Print - print, print preview, page set-up Web developer (plenty of choices none associated with tools /cache) Full Screen Set Up Sync Exit Bookmarks History Downloads Add Ons Options (plenty of options, none that fit) Help (plenty of options, none that fit)

You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the hidden Menu bar.

You can also clear the cache via:

  • Firefox > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

You may also have to "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can also use History > Clear Recent History.

Hi, In version 28 there is a menu called History. The second option in that menu is "Clear recent history" :-)

Please try the customization in order to put an add on for clearing the cache there at addons.mozilla.org.

Thank you for revealing the hidden tactics to locate the cache, certainly not as easy as IE.
