It seems like everytime I use a complete theme- this time Noia 4- the nav bar, or the letters on the nav bar, turn red. Why can't I find a complete theme that works? I have Windows XP.

You're using Firefox 22, which is a beta version intended for testing. Add-ons may not be compatible with anything above the current release version, Firefox 21.

If the issue is specific to the Noia 4 theme,

  1. Open the Add-ons Manager, Extensions category.
  2. Next to the Noia 4 Theme Manager entry, click the Options button.
  3. In the Noia 4 Theme Manager window, click the Settings & Help button and choose Restore Default Settings.
  4. Click the OK button to close the window.
  5. If the problem persists, contact the author for support.

If it really does happen with all complete themes — including something like the monochrome rein theme — it could be caused by your Windows text color settings.

  1. Right-click the desktop and choose Properties.
  2. On the Themes tab, choose Theme: Windows XP, then click the Apply button.
  3. On the Appearance tab, choose Windows and buttons: Windows XP Style, then click the Apply button.
  4. Try setting the Color Scheme to Blue, then Olive Green, then Silver and click the Apply button each time.

If that doesn't make a difference, the problem could also be caused by one of your extensions.
