Hello,

If i open the webpage www.kpnvandaag.nl I get the question to accept the cookies for this page. So I press the accept button. I have two pages extra included on this page. 1. nu.nl and 2. webwereld. Both extra pages shows the button accept cookies. But whatever I do I press the button etc. and set the options in the menu extra the content of these pages are not displayed. Only the button ACCEPT cookies.

This problem occurs after the upgrade to version 21.

Who could help me out?

Kind regards,

Richard Meijn

After clicking Allow or Allow for Session or Block as many times as required to clear all the dialogs, try reloading the page to re-request the content from those external sites. You can use Ctrl+Shift+r to bypass any incomplete cached files and request everything fresh from the server. Does that work?

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Also check the exceptions.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the affected files.

It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
