I cannot see download progress in Firefox 20.0.1 I click the arrow to see progress and nothing happens. What's wrong? It was a big download and the progress bar was there and it was not done. Nothing happens when I click Show All Downloads. It was working until this evening.I have made no changes to my pc this evening. Also I cannot login to the support page nor reset my password so it's impossible to have an account with support. I had to create a new account 3 times before it would accept my password. I won't accept anything on the other accounts or accept any password reset. I asked this question with another account name, but can't respond because of the password problem. I am sure I am typing correctly and following the rules for password creation. Gerry

Downloads as seen in the new Download Manager are history items.
So if you do not see them the you may have lost your history somehow.

You can try if they are still in the classic Download Manager that stores its data in the downloads.sqlite file instead of the places.sqlite that stores history and bookmarks.

You can set the Boolean pref browser.download.useToolkitUI to true on the about:config page to restore the classic Download Manager window and make all download settings appear in "Tools > Options > General".

You can check the browser.download.manager.retention pref to make sure that it has the default value (2: manual).

After restarting my laptop it is working again. I was not able to see the downloads when clicking the new download arrow, but now I can view the download window even if all downloads have been cleared.
