Wie importiere ich auf Windows 8 Lesezeichen ( .html Format ) von einer CD d.h. D-Laufwerk?
Ich habe Lesezeichen aus Vista exportiert (.htlml Format ) auf eine CD, wie von euch in der Doku beschrieben. Klappt alles prima, ganz einfach. Meine Problem jetzt, ich möchte die Daten von dieser CD auf einem neuen Notebook ( Windows 8 ) importieren aber hier sieht es anders aus und ich weiß nicht weiter. Ich mache folgendes: Lesezeichen ->alle Lesezeichen anzeigen -> Importieren und Sichern ( oben in der Leiste ) -> Lesezeichen von HTML importieren -> jetzt kommt ein Popup in dem alle .html Dateien ( meine Lesezeichen ) angzeigt werden ( auf Laufwerk D ). Ich kann aber weder eine einzige Datei oder mehrere/alle markieren um sie jetzt zu importieren ( ich nehme an, dies würde man mit 'öffnen' machen, weiß ich es aber nicht da ich es nicht machen kann ). In Vista gibt es einen Begriff wie 'Importieren' warum nicht in Windows 8? Wäre nett, wenn jemand mir auf den Sprung helfen könnte Steve

You can find the Import menu entry in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import Data from Another Browser

Thanks for your help but the first suggestion: import from another browser does not help because in the popup this is only for Microsoft Explorer and I have no bookmarks from that, mine as I said are from Mozilla from a Vista PC and they have been exported to a CD. The second suggestion ( link ) is more to the point
Firefox 3 and above: "Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks (or Show all Bookmarks)-> Import and Backup -> Import HTML... -> from an HTML File"
Browse to the folder containing the bookmarks HTML file, select the file you wish to import and click "open". The imported bookmarks will be added to your existing bookmarks.
My problem is I can't select the files I wish to import and the 'open' Button remains inactive. Any ideas? Steve
Does that file have a .html file extension?
yes, when the popup appears ( import html files ) it automatically searches for and finds only html files..that's what's so strange, that I can't mark the files and so the name/s) do not appear underneath in the field 'Dateiname'/'Filename' and so I can't 'öffnen'...I assume this means transfer to the Lesezeichen on the new computer.
