I am using Firefox 18.0.1 when I go to the comments section on an article, particularly CNN and The Hill, once I start typing a reply the comments section will disappear. a refresh restores the comments, and sometimes if I try to reply my typing is saved, although not always. I have taken to typing replies in notepad.exe and pasting them in because I don't dare try to type on the web page. I believe I had one of the 16.n.n versions before the upgrade, and have only developed the problem recently. it didn't occur until 18 was installed for some time.

This does seem like a FF 18 problem. Try re-installing Firefox, and see if the problem continues. Hope this helps, Jeremy Eramian
