Why isn't Firefox clearing my cache? My website (thegimpychef.com) isn't showing the changes that I made while creating the ads, Explorer does show the changes. I contacted CloneMyWebsite, the company involved with Wordpress, they are using Firefox and they show the changes to my site. I have tried to clear the cache at least 10 times by following the instructions given by Firefox and other companies? I don't have any idea what to do? I am a newbie when it comes to the computer so ANY information you could give me would be most appreciated! Thank you!

Have you try to manually delete Firefox cache? (Menu->Options->Privacy->Clear your Recent History) also the version of Firefox do you use is in regular channel or beta?

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)

I reloaded Firefox after saving my Bookmarks. My website is working correctly now. Don't know why Firefox was doing that, I've never had a problem before. Thanks for your suggestion anyways though!

I wrote this so you can use it if you encounter an issue like this again in the future.
A reload with bypassing the cache is always first to try if there are inconsistencies with loading web pages.
This makes Firefox send specific no-cache and no-store headers.
