I am unable to log in at my Options First trading account since Ver 12.

Since version 12 of Firefox was installed (automatically) I can no longer log in to my trading account at Options First. When the login page comes up and I enter my username and password nothing happens after clicking the submit button.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with Firefox but can currently not assist you much due to a lack of information in your post. Could you please give me the address of the website you are trying to log on? Did you upgrade Firefox or did you make a clean install?

I believe the browser was updated from version 11 to version 12. It happened automatically yesterday morning when the browser was opened. The URL of the site I can not log in to is www.optionsfirst.com. Thanks for your help.

I am sorry to announce you that you might have to reinstall Firefox cleanly as there might have been a corruption during the automatic upgrade. This should hopefully fix the problem as I can myself login with no problem using the latest release of the web browser.

I am noticing more problems with version 12 on my computer. Some pages do not display correctly. I was getting around the problem by holding down the shift key and then refreshing the page but that is not working on some pages now. The automatic update is going to force me to another browser I believe.

regarding the automatic upgrades issue, there is a work-around. To disable automatic upgrades, simply visit the [update preferences article]. This should normally resolve the problem.
