I've just updated to Firefox 8. There used to be a drop down menu option next to the 'back' button, which would allow you to choose specifically where you wished to go back to, eg. ifyou wanted to go back several pages, then rather than click back, back, back constantly, you could just select the page from the menu. It was handy if you weren't sure how far forward you'd come from the page you wanted and also saved time.

This feature doesn't seem to be part of the new Firefox, but I used it frequently and would like it back. Is there a way I can add it to my new task bar?

You can do so by right click on back or forward button, or click and hold on the back or forward button until the list comes up.

Just Right click on the back button, and you will see the menu again :)

Thank you both, there's no way I would have figured that out myself!
