Links that I go to, do not dim or change color when I go back. They always stay blue?

When I visit a website and and search, when I go back, the links don't change color. Before, when I checked something out, and came back, I could see the links that I had visited as a different color. I do a lot of searching, and without the problem being corrected, I have a problem knowing where I have searched. Is this Firefox problem. I use Firefox as my default. Thanks, Ray

Do the following.

  1. Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Content.

  2. In the Fonts & Colors menu, click the "Colors" button.

  3. Checkmark the option called Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above.

  4. Click OK.

Incidentally, you have adware installed which will interfere with your searches. To remove it, click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable "My Web Search".
