When I ctrl-T, instead of about:home in the location bar, I get a yahoo search with focus in the search box. How do I get rid of this annoyance?

The question basically says it all. When I ctrl-T or click the + to get a new tab, according to the docs I'm supposed to get an about:home in the location field with the focus there so I can type in a URL. However, instead I get a screen with a yahoo search box centered with the focus there. Yahoo is my homepage so this may be an explanation. However, how do I keep Yahoo as my homepage without getting this annoying behavior?

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).

If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

That did it, thanks. When I disabled the extension "freeze.com netAssistant", the problem went away.
