Firefox version 3.6.13 documentation mentions the feature "location aware browsing." It documentation states that this is a feature which may easily be controlled by the user.

I do not find, in preferences or the tool bar, any indication or language which addresses this "feature." Please advise where this control option exists and what it is called. Thank you!

more options

"Location-Aware Browsing" is only useful if you connect via a wireless access point. Otherwise a reverse look up of your IP is used and that in usually not very accurate.
