Firefox not working with some NY Times links
I cannot open any Games on the NY TImes site with FIrefox for the past month; no problem with Chrome. Today, two article links opened but then the page went blank (repeatedly), while other links worked fine. Again, no problem with Chrome. My wife can't get into proxyvote.com with Firefox--again, a blank screen. Where is this weirdness coming from?

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin), always make sure such extensions do not block content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings), click the padlock icon (Clear cookies and site data) for the domain in the selected tab.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

You can check for issues with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages like blocked content.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
Alas no, none of this made any difference. And trying your latest suggestion produced a screen attached below that doesn't seem to offer any point of entrance. Since I'm just an ordinary user, I find this labyrinth baffling. We're talking about the New York Times, after all. And when I click on the link to an article it may load or it may produce a blank page. There is no way of knowing in advance, except that the Games always produce a blank page, as with the Wordle example below. This does not happen with Chrome, and it doesn't happen to my wife also on a Mac using Firefox (although she can't reach some other sites, where she gets the same blank screen). As I'm leaving home tomorrow for four months, I won't be back at this keyboard and screen till October. I'll have to see how the Mac at my other home behaves. My laptop does not have this problem, either. And I swear I have not changed any settings since before all this happened!
