Calendar Reminders No Longer Appearing

more options

For no reason I can discern, my Thunderbird Calendar reminders have stopped appearing.

I checked in the Options section and everything seems in order (see attached).

I am on the latest version of 102.5.0 Windows.

I've rebooted my laptop.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.

I attempted two solutions. I'm not sure which worked but if someone else encounters the issue, here is what I did.

1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. 2. When I reinstalled, all my email and calendar data reappeared (hadn't been deleted). 3. Unsubscribed from the Google Calendar. 4. Subscribed to the Google Calendar again from scratch, using the .ical link from Google.

Afterward, the reminders appear to be working correctly as before.

Hello

could your calendar have gone in a disabled state ? If it is, you can't create a new event.

I'm not sure how I would identify a calendar in a disabled state -- unless you mean that creating a new event would inform me that it is NOT disabled?

I just created a new event with no issues.

Come to think of it, a calendar can be disabled but also be enabled but have notifications disabled. To see the property screen for a calendar, double click it.
