My hard drive was changed and I downloaded Thunderbird, but it did not add all of my emails from over the years. It only started as of this week.
I am totally not techie so when I downloaded the Thunderbird program, it did not download all of my past emails. It started with this week. I am missing A LOT of emails, folders, and information I really need. Is there any way to retrieve the old Thunderbird email program? I obviously do not have the old hard drive any longer and definitely do not understand "computer speak"....THANK YOU.

either your old mails are stored in your mail provider server, or they were downloaded over the years on your old hard disk and removed from the mail provider. If the former, you should be able to get them again by configuring correctly your Thunderbird. If it's the latter, well, it's lost (unless you can get the old hard disk, or someone has done backups for you). Next time do backups.
