Thanks for your reply. Firefox is deleted every time Windows 11 does an update. When I reinstall it there's a message saying Firefox needs to access Microsoft Edge for user name and password. Never had this problem with Windows 7, and I shouldn't have it now. Windows 11 is a bully - more interested in promoting itself than giving users what they want. Can't even delete ME although I don't want it. I'm not up to delving into technical matters that I don't understand.

Hi gllyn, I'm on Win 11 and am not having issues like you. You're right though, Win 11 is a bully about Edge. They put two of them in to double they're effort.

Anyway, where are you downloading Firefox from? Try one of these full installers -
