I've recently updated Firefox for the first time after maybe a year or two on my pc. Just noticed the right-click auto correct feature now is substantially less accurate than it once was. Not sure if auto correct results have been change to a different provider or what is going on. It just seems now on the latest Firefox right click auto-correct doesn't even come close to how accurate it used to be.

Not sure if this is just me or what, but definitely noticed this today while drunken typing.

Thanks!

I've definitely noticed this in version 89, and it's a drag. Words that are actually words will be shown as wrong, and then when I click on the highlighted word, it sometimes won't change it to the correct one, or sometimes will, but while keeping the misspelled word there, too!! Huh??

I'm now using ver. 90, and it doesn't seem to have changed any. And it's still slow, and still a memory hog...

Hi blobman21, as far as I know, Firefox still uses the same open source spelling code -- Hunspell, shared with OpenOffice -- as always. However, if you were adding words to the dictionary to improve it over the years and that file somehow got lost, you would be back to the default.
