Firefox 85.0.2 login and password issue

more options

I currently have the updated Firefox. Up until yesterday. I have saved many logins and passwords. however yesterday all of my logins were erased from the browser. In the support page it says that as of Firefox 80 if you press the dots you can import from a file, but that is not an option on my Firefox. I have tried the support page but nothing seems to work to keep all my passwords. I redid al my login and passwords, and then they disappeared hours later again

Are you using any password add-ons/programs?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

That did not work at all. I do not have any add-ons that interact with my passwords and logins. As a matter of fact the only add on I have is webroot, and that just makes sure I don't go on to pages that considered unsafe, but I can decide to still go on the website if I choose to. I honestly need to save my logins. I know I could use one master password, but I deem that as unsafe. please help me

See the note at the bottom of this article about how to enable CSV import via the about:config page.

Firefox 80+ has a logins-backup.json that can be used in case of issues with logins.json or to undo an accidental delete of a login, so you can check if you can find this file.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Sorry first off when I try to import there is no option. Secondly the other profile doesn't have the passwords either. Anyone else got an idea
