Hello, FF82.0.2 I want to change and lock the settings "network.cookie.cookieBehavior" and "network.cookie.lifetimePolicy" for user via the mozilla.cfg. Also I'm using the policies.json (which would be my preferred option for changing the network.cookie..., but it doesn't work neither)

But none of them locked or changed the settings for the user. Is this a known problem or are there any other settings, which affect the cookiesettings?

I am really new to this and there were already old configs from another colleague (which has left the company and there are no documentations).

Thank you :)

Hi

Can you post or upload the content of the mozilla.cfg autoconfig file and possibly policies.json if you also use this file ?

You can check the Browser Console for errors with mozilla.cfg and about:policies for errors in policies.json.

You should be able to do this via policies.json if your Firefox version from therepositories supports this feature.

Thank you for your answer and the links. I think I've found the problem Windows Firefox GPO are already defined.

According to which priority are the configurations set? Windows GPO>Policies.json

If Windows GPO is set, policies.json isn't read at all (I'm working on that)
