I cannot use the version 78 because it does not open some attachments and need the Lookout add-on to do it, which is not presently compatible with 78. So we all have to wait for Lookout for 78... or you could correct this PROBLEM including the Lookout in the normal Thunderbird.

There is an updated version. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/lookout-fix-version/

However, if the sender corrected their settings then you wouldn't even need to use the addon.

The sender is assuming everybody uses Outlook and has not taken Outlook's own advise on adjusing the settings - basically switching TNEF mode off or at least making a setting to not send in that format to you. they should only be using that setting when they send within an environment that only uses Outlook. Perhaps you should send them this link, so they stop inconveniencing their recipients. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/290809/how-e-mail-message-formats-affect-internet-e-mail-messages-in-outlook
