Esegui i filtri scelti
Vorrei poter inoltrare un suggerimento in merito ai filtri di Thunderbird. Attualmente è possibile eseguire i filtri su una cartella, ma se si trattano di email che cambiano lo status? Ad esempio quando un'email arriva in posta in arriva io posso etichettarla "In attesa di pagamento" e far sì che questa venga sposta in una sottocartella chiamata appunto "In attesa di pagamento". Ma se la stessa email da "In attesa di pagamento" dovesse poi cambiare in "Pagata" non posso applicare un filtro che la sposta nella sottocartella "Pagata" poichè i filtri scelti vengono eseguiti solo sulla cartella della posta in arriva mentre invece bisognerebbe scegliere la cartella in cui applicare il filtro. Nella finestra principale "Filtri messaggi" in basso troviamo proprio la funzione "Esegui i filtri scelti su". Se applico un filtro sulla cartella "Posta in arrivo" poi non posso applicare un nuovo filtra da eseguire per una sottocartella. Spero in un impostazione più personalizzabile. I would like to make a suggestion regarding Thunderbird filters. It is currently possible to run filters on a folder, but what if they are emails that change status? For example, when an email arrives in the inbox I can tag it "Awaiting payment" and have it moved to a subfolder called "Awaiting payment". But if the same email from "Awaiting payment" should then change to "Paid" I can't apply a filter that moves it to the "Paid" subfolder because the chosen filters are executed only on the incoming mail folder while you should choose the folder where you want to apply the filter. In the main "Message Filters" window at the bottom you will find the "Run selected filters on" function. If I apply a filter on the "Inbox" folder then I can't apply a new filter to a subfolder. I hope for a more customizable setting. In the meantime, thank you for your attention.
If you create a filter that is run manually only and moves messages that are tagged 'Paid' to the Paid folder, and then select the filter in the Message Filters window, then select the 'Awaiting payment' folder in the 'Run selected filter(s) on' drop-down, then 'Run Now', the filter should work as expected. It won't run automatically, because that only works on the Inbox, but filters can be run manually on any folder. If it isn't working, enable the filter log to examine the process.
