HI all.. when I open a message in Thunderbird (portable) ... it automatically adds an extra space character after the last typed character...

i.e. if i receive an email that is just one word 'hello' for example.. the if I double click that word to copy it.. it highlights the word correctly, but also it highlights and extra space after the 'o' which is not what I want.. I want to copy just hello (which is 5 characters) .. but double clicking it highlights 6 characters... the 5 letters of the text, and one extra blank space character after 'o'.

Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

I see posts about thunderbird adding an extra space after you click return in a message you type in thunderbird giving you two line spaces after a return, but that's not my problem... my problem is messages received in thunderbird and adding an extra character after the final typed character.

Thanks all in advance..
