Why does Firefox say every add-on I try to download is corrupted?

more options

It started with the add-on from the site doctorn.rocks. It is an add-on for the game torn. One day, it was fine and wroking on Firefox. The next day it was automatically disabled because it "appears to be corrupt". It then happened with every single add-on on the Firefox add-on page that shows featured add-ons. I tried resetting the cache of Firefox and then restarting my phone, but it didn't work. I have an Android Essential PH-1.

Sorry, you're right, the add-ons are really not corrupt. The problem is, a critical certificate used in verifying add-on signatures expired. So everything fails testing.

A hotfix has been released for Firefox on Windows, Mac and Linux. More info in this article: Add-ons disabled or fail to install on Firefox.

There is not yet a fix for Android. The Add-ons team will post updates here: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/

If you want an unsupported temporary workaround, please see this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1258219
