disable message text pane

I am forwarding all spam messages to the FRAUD HELP DESK for analyzing. They prefer the .eml format.

In Thunderbird (version 60*) when I rightclick a (spam)message a menu opens. I select Forward As and then Attachment. (I am using the Dutch version of Thunderbird, so the translation can perhaps differ). Then a new e-mail window opens with the attached message to be forwarded. Finally I then specify the To: address and press Submit.

In this way the Message View Pane (the text pane below the Messages Pane) does not open.

If I attach the second (spam)message then I have to select the (second) message by leftclicking and drag it to the Attachement Pane of the e-mail window. But now the (second) message is opened in the Message View Pane. I do not want this because the message may perhaps have an invisible 1x1 pixeltracker, so now the sender knows that my e-mail address exists ! Or is this not 100% true? Of course I do not click on the link in that message. And sometimes the message has no link, but only a serie of characters like <3;Abu5Cdy9mZsVGdAFWa2FmbpRmbhN2cB;2505;uVWbuM2bql3d65CdodWdvJ3d5xGanlGaC>

I ask this because each day I am receiving a lot of spam mails and it seems that the number is growing every week. I like to forward them all within one e-mail. So is it 100% safe if I do it on the way described above?

Or is there another way to forward a bunch of (spam)messages without any chance to be detected by the (spam)sender?

Thank you for your help.

If you close the Message Pane (F8 to toggle it on or off), the message isn't opened if you select it.

You can also select multiple messages, then right-click, Forward as Attachments. Close the Message Pane first.

Thank you for your reply. I had already read elsewhere in the forum that with F8 that Message View pane can be switched off (or on). But by accident I found that if one drags with the mouse (pointer changes into double arrow) on top side of the statusbar (at the bottom of Message Pane) upwards, that the Message View Pane still can be opened and so the previous selected message(s) can be read. So it is advised first to select a "save" message before doing so. It seems there is always at least one message that is selected in the Message Pane. I can not find how to deselect a message. Anyhow I will be carefull by keeping the Message View Pane closed.
