Can I have an account without having 2 devices?
I'm trying to log into Firefox for the first time and it keeps telling me that I have to sync another device but I don't have another device. Is there a way I can use Firefox without 2 devices?

Hi
Firefox Sync is designed for two devices so that you can move your bookmarks and passwords between them.
Firefox for Android works perfectly well on its own - you do not need to sign in or create a Firefox Account to be able to use it to browse the web.
