Check you can read emails in offline mode and then when certain you can read emails, remove the imap mail account. If currently that new account auto connects to server using a stored password and you want to update that password to a new password which you have set in webmail: * 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab * click on 'Saved Passwords' button There will be two lines the incoming and the outgoing. * Right click on line and select 'Edit password' * completely remove old pasword and type in the new password * click on 'Close' * click on 'OK' If currently that new account auto connects to server using a stored password and you want it to ask every time: Remove the stored password. * 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab * click on 'Saved Passwords' button There will be two lines the incoming and the outgoing. * highlight each relevant line for the mail account * click on 'Remove' * click on 'Close' * click on 'OK'
