When replying to an email with multiple recipients, if I choose the Reply All option, each recipient is listed on a separate line, usually as a To: recipient. If I only want one or two To: recipients, with the rest Cc: recipients, I can manually change them to Cc: status one by one. With many recipients, this becomes exceedingly tedious. How can I select a whole lot of them to change their recipient status in bulk?

I don't have a complete answer.

A partial answer might be to use the Use Bcc Instead add-on.

Its intended use is to warn you when the number of addressees exceeds some user-set limit, and then automatically change them all to Bcc.

But one of the tools it provides is the ability to switch all the addressees en masse to Cc or Bcc. So you could use this to switch to the Cc setting suitable for the majority, then go back and hand-switch the smaller number of addresses that want a To:
