I can install Thunderbird and Firefox to custom locations, but I can't see a way to get the Mozilla Maintenance Service to install at the same location.

The Mozilla Maintenance Service installs in its own folder and is always the version that comes with the most recent Firefox version (i.e. if you would install beta then you get the version that comes with beta).

Service name: MozillaMaintenance File name: maintenanceservice.exe Installation directory: %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Maintenance Service

You may be able to use an INI file by using a /INI=<path to ini file> command line switch with the maintenanceservice_installer.exe installer.

I do think maintenance service installs in the FF folder itself not another detached folder. So where is it going to?

On closer inspection, yes the FF maintenance service goes into the FF folder, but TB installs it's maintenance service in a seperate folder, Program Files\Mozilla Maintenance Service. Do I need both services anyway?

Okay, since I installed TB after FF, and TB uses an older version I had both versions installed and only one is needed. And the FF is where I want it to be, so all looks good :) Thanks
