Unable to remove Firefox from firewall to clean-up Firefox updat
Recent update from Firefox blocked internet access, although Chrome still works. Suggested remedy from Mozilla is to remove Firefox from Windows firewall then restore it. However, I cannot remove the program, but only edit to which network the firewall applies. Hence Firefox, my longtime default browser does not work on my PC any longer. This seems so odd and is certainly a challenge as I either switch to Chrome on all devices or only on my PC, which means I will have two sets of bookmarks, etc. I need this resolved.

Running Betas can do that.
Check Task Manager to see if anything still running of Firefox. If so End Task. Try to remove from Firewall now. If can not edit move to below.
If nothing running Uninstall Firefox, Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
